Lisboa Green Hub is a new digital platform from Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, developed by Chimp. Itsanashow Studio was invited to create a 2D explainer video that connects schools, organisations and citizens around one shared goal: building a greener, climate-neutral Lisbon.
We were challenged to introduce the platform, explain its key features, and spark curiosity — all in under a minute. The audience was wide and diverse, stretching from students aged 10–14 to teachers, NGOs, sponsors and families.
We shaped a narrative that flows with clarity and energy, balancing trust with accessibility and keeping the story both playful and purposeful. Bold illustration, 2D animation, smooth transitions, UI-inspired motion and parallax cityscapes capture Lisbon’s landmarks, while different hands come together on screen to build the platform piece by piece. This collaborative metaphor became the heart of the video: a city being transformed collectively into a more sustainable version of itself
The outcome is more than an explainer video. It is an invitation to explore Lisboa Green Hub, to learn through interactive content, and to take part in shaping the Lisbon of tomorrow.
