Hi there, I'm Ana!
I've always been drawn to two things: understanding how people think, and making things look inevitable. Turns out, that's not a contradiction, it's a practice.
Creative Director and Design Lead with a background in both Psychology and Communication Design. Over the past 15+ years I've worked with brands, tech companies, and cultural institutions across brand, motion, illustration, and experience design. From live news at RTP to global brands like Novartis, Penguin Random House, and Aga Khan Foundation.
In 2020 I co-founded Itsanashow, an indie creative powerhouse specializing in branding, motion design, and web design, where I lead projects and teams that bridge strategy and craft.
Since 2024 I've been a Guest Lecturer and Mentor at Lisbon School of Design, working with students on motion design, visual storytelling, and the thinking behind design decisions.
I'm drawn to complex problems, design strategy, cross-functional teams, and work that actually means something to the people it's made for.
